We have finally resolved the contract issues with the hotel. As of today,
Tuesday January 22, 2008, you are now able to book your room at the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino, Reno NV.

The room rate is $100.00 per night plus 12% tax.
The block of rooms runs from April 27 through May 2. There are no rooms
available at all under any circumstance for April 26, but the rate will apply
for up to 2 days after May 2, the scheduled checkout day.
The block of 50 rooms is available until March 26, 2008. If we go over the 50, I believe they can accommodate us. If we fall short of the 50, there will be a penalty attached. So please, we want every Chairman to attend and of course other officers of the Board may attend.
As we get closer, I will need firm counts to plan for meals. Please advise me
when you book and for how long, the number attending and how many rooms, please.
There is shuttle service to/from the airport. The direct number for the hotel
is 775-789-2000
If you need to ship anything there, there are additional charges. This must be
handled through the Executive Business Center at 775-789-2418.
The scheduled dates remain as in the last message: April 27 check-in after 3pm; evening reception.
April 28, 29, 30 are NASLBC meetings.
The 28th will have an evening reception combined with Gen. Chairman
The 29th will include a dinner for all.
May 1 is the joint meeting with the General Chairmen, 08:00 to 12:00
May 2 is check-out.
We anticipate having Jo Strang from the FRA speak to us on May 28.
The meeting agenda will be sent under separate cover.
Brother Smith is planning a comprehensive, enjoyable meeting. We truly hope that every Chairman will attend.
To date, 20 State Boards have paid their dues. Thank you for submitting this
