Matt Kronyak was elected by acclamation on March 26, 2010 as Chairman of the New Jersey State Legislative Board and also holds elected positions on Conrail SAA/CSXT Northern District – General Committee of Adjustments, as Vice General Chairman. Matt is also serving his fourth term as Local Chairman, also by acclamation.

He hired out on Conrail on February 23, 1993; attended Engineer Training School in Conway, PA, and was promoted to Locomotive Engineer on May 26, 1995.  When Conrail split in 1999, his choice was to work for CSX.

Matt has attended and successfully completed numerous classes at the George Meany Center for Labor Studies - now the National Labor College, in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Married to the former Cathy Schiefer for over twenty two years now, they have one teenage son, Matthew. Their family has always lived in New Jersey.
