Randy Meek is the Chairman of the Nebraska State Legislative Board and a member of Division 98 in Lincoln, NE. Randy assumed the position of Chairman when his predecessor, Brother Bob Harvey took the job of regulatory specialist in the BLET Washington D.C. office in 1996.

Randy began his career with BNSF in 1977, starting in the track department at St. Joseph, MO and was promoted to Engineer in 1979 following a short period as a brakeman in Creston IA. He joined the BLE in 1980 and became active in Division 98 as a Legislative Representative after moving to Lincoln, NE in 1984 with his wife Kris.

Two kids, two jobs and various interests such as computers and motorcycles have filled the years with activities and he looks forward to continuing representation of the members of the BLET for the immediate future and someday retiring, perhaps back in his home state of Missouri.
